Hello! I’m Maggie the RMT. Located inside the PNW Metabolic health collective. I am happily accepting new client but I am NOT direct billing to ICBC or WCB at this time.
A little about my massage therapy style: I am very fluid and adaptable. I work with a lot of seniors, small children, athletes and office workers. I like to use a combination of fascial work, deep tissue, range of motion, PNF stretching and dermo-neuromodulation. I find pain science very fascinating and I am constantly upgrading my education to learn more and be better. If you tell me what you need I’ll try my best to make it happen!
A fun fact about me: I am currently working towards being federally licensed to handle professional-grade fireworks. I like to fish in my free time and I run an adorable B&B with my partner. (the link is airbnb.ca/h/menziesretreat if you want to check it out)
I am happy to answer any questions you might have and I hope to meet you soon.
Born and raised on the beautiful west coast of Canada, I have always been drawn to helping others feel their best. My journey into massage therapy began right after high school, when I started my studies at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, in the spa practitioner program, in New Westminster. Shortly after graduating, a spontaneous overseas trip with my best friend turned into a 7 year adventure abroad, an experience that deeply shaped my perspective on wellness, connection, and care.
After returning home to Vancouver Island, I continued working in caring and service oriented professions, always feeling a strong pull back to hands-on healing work. Once life allowed the space, I made the decision to return to school and pursue my Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) designation, a goal I am passionate about and committed to.
I am currently in my first year at Pacific Coastal College of Massage Therapy and am excited to offer wellness and relaxation massage at Menzies Wellness, while completing my RMT degree. My treatments focus on creating a calming, supportive environment where clients can relax, unwind, and support their overall well-being.
I look forward to being part of your self-care journey.
